  • An executive brand coach is similar to a leadership or career coach who works with individuals to help them envision and achieve their specific life and career goals. But as a brand coach, who is also a seasoned marketer and recruitment expert, I am uniquely qualified to help executives really define and communicate their personal brand story and how to take that story to market so they can execute on their goals. This is key whether you want a new role outside or inside your organization.

  • As someone who spent 10 years as the Chief Marketing Officer inside a global executive search firm, I have seen the power of how a clear and compelling personal brand story assists candidates in being offered key roles. Being able to communicate what you really want and what you have to offer that other candidates don’t is key to successful networking and interviewing. It’s also key to moving up the ranks within an organization.

  • Yes! I offer private coaching for women and men. However, my group coaching program is specifically designed to address the key challenges women face when trying to advance their careers.

  • If you have had success working with recruiters in the past, you should definitely reach out to your contacts to let them know that you are looking to make a change. But you will still need to be able to clearly articulate what you want, what makes you unique relative to other candidates and what kind of role you will excel at. The better you are able to position yourself in a compelling way, the easier it will be for a recruiter to help match you with an organization and role that fits with your vision and goals. Also, keep in mind that executive recruiters only place about 15-20% of the senior-level roles in organizations so you’ll want to be leveraging your network too.

But chances are, if you are doing a lot of interviewing and not getting any offers, it’s time to rethink how you are articulating why you would be a great hire. I can help you do this. I have spent most of my career branding companies and their C-level leaders – and I spent ten years at a global executive search firm so I understand intimately the challenges that candidates face when looking for a new role.

  • I have reviewed hundreds of resumes and LinkedIn profiles over the years and, in my experience, an effective resume and LinkedIn profile come from clearly articulating your career goals and aspirations and your unique brand story. This is an important part of the brand coaching process that I take my clients through, in addition to helping them develop a plan to take that story to market to go after what they want.

  • I offer interview preparation coaching to existing clients who have already gone through my private brand coaching program. This is because your brand story (the unique value you bring) is the foundation that you should build on when prepping for interviews. Once we are clear on that, we can work together on customizing that story for each role you are interviewing for.
